OOC Meme, Version 2.0
Apr. 10th, 2007 12:48 am[updated for changes in availability/the playing experience]
Me:
nightangelca, C.A., the Korean Ninja. I'm usually Tatsumi on IRC, though I've also been seen there as Enjolras and Maladict.
I play: Enjolras (
patria_ou_mort), Maladict (
bad_addict) and Tatsumi (
kagekachou).
Available on: The quickest way to contact me is probably IRC. I also have AIM, Yahoo and MSN, which are always on if my computer is on. I recently started using gmail, and my address is patria.ou.mort [at] gmail [dot] com. E-mail is the most reliable way to reach me at any time -- the best address to use for CFUD-related business is eryil_of_the_night [at] yahoo [dot] com.
Timezone/Language: EST and English. I can muddle through slowly with Spanish, but you really don't want me to.
Availability: Until the last week of April, I'll generally be within reach of the computer from approximately 9:00 PM onwards on weekdays, 6:00 PM onwards on Saturdays and 8:00 PM onwards on Sundays; it is very likely, however, that I'll be busy and not super-available Monday through Wednesdays. For the last week of April through the first week of May, I'll probably be on hiatus. After that, I'll probably be on A LOT on ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK until the end of May.
The Playing Experience: It's become an issue for me this semester that I'm no longer able to maintain the activity level I once did. As in, life activity level. I can generally handle being sick or being busy, but lately, I've been being hit with the sick and the busy, which has been difficult to deal with. I DO want to thread with you, though! It's likely that continuing threads over days will be necessary if the threads are to be of any considerable length. It's also likely that I won't be able to get back to you the very next day because of my schedule. If you're willing to deal with my limited ability to continue threads in any sort of sane way, I really do like to try to brings threads through to completion.
Thread Dropping: If I think that a thread has come to a natural close, I'll drop it. If I'm wrong about that, though, just let me know in IRC or otherwise, and I'll be glad to continue. Also, I might drop a thread that I don't think is finished and still be around in IRC, etc. -- this is likely due to exhaustion on my part, and I try to be good about notifying whomever I'm threading with that either: a) I have reached such an atrociously low brain capacity that I'm unable to continue, or b) I have just regained brain capacity that I'd been lacking and have to re-direct it toward other things like homework. Either way, I'll ask if you'd like to continue ("Playing Experience" notes about continuing sadly do apply here).
Goals: To stop failing at life. No, really. Also, post moar.
Betaing: During the school year, I'm not a reliable beta because it's very likely that I'll be unexpectedly becoming busy or falling ill, and school has to take priority. I'm willing to be a supplementary beta if you want one, though (i.e. will try, but might or might not get back to you).
AUs: Not averse to 'em. Though it's something I'd generally have to see as either IC or cracky silliness.
Pimping: I will pimp Les Mis to you so hard.
